Exercising
Next up is exercising, (I want to get something up on all 3 Es before I go out).
I am not particularly overweight. Those scales at the swimming pool say that I need to lose a stone(!) but I am around 9.5stone and 5ft 4 so I'm not overweight.
I have quite an active job that I do for 13.5 hours a week, lots of lifting and carrying. I have only just started this and been assured that my muscles will get stronger and carrying the mail bags wont seem so hard.....I have yet to see any difference here. I have noticed that the men carry the mail bags and the women drag them on the floor...I can't see how a man, (if they are comparatively the same size as the woman), can be in any better a position to carry the bags than a woman. SO, I am determined to be a carrier rather than a dragger!
I don't lead a particularly sedentary life style.......
My knowledge is that really I should do some form of exercise every single day. This will make my life go better.
And that's why I'm writing this blog...because I don't....nor do I particularly want to.
But I want my life to go well/better.
So......I do kind of like running. I definitely like walking. I hate swimming but seem to be quite good at it and I really am rubbish at bike riding but can see how 'useful' it could be.
My plan is to start running 3 times a week for the next few weeks. (already I can feel a pit of dread in my stomach at the thought of making this kind of commitment, even if I'm the only one that knows about it!).
Also to go for a walk every single day with my daughter and son if I can drag him out, (he is 15). Because I home educate we are in a good position to do this........
Ok, enough on Exercise for now because the biggy is coming up...........................................
